What data we process
- Browsing data: when you view a battery passport (e.g. by scanning a QR code), the web server records technical logs (IP address, browser type, date and time of the request). No registration is required and no profile of you is built.
- Reserved-area accounts: for authorised Starday and supplier staff only — name, e-mail address, access logs and an audit trail of the operations performed.
Purposes and legal bases
- Making battery information available to the public as required by Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Managing reserved-area accounts — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Security of the service and prevention of abuse (technical logs, audit trail) — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention
- Regulatory battery data: 10 years, as required by the applicable sector rules.
- Technical logs: for the time strictly necessary for security purposes.
- Account data: for the duration of the relationship and any legal obligations.
Recipients and transfers
Data may be processed by technical service providers (hosting, e-mail) appointed as processors under Art. 28 GDPR and located in the European Union. Data is not disseminated and is not transferred outside the EU.
Automated decision-making
No profiling and no automated decision-making take place.
Your rights
You may exercise the rights set out in Articles 15–22 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection) by writing to info@stardaysrl.it. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
